I have been a Meccano enthusiast on and off since 1957 when my parents bought me a No 6 set for my 6th Birthday. In the 1970's I was a member of the North West Meccano Guild until 1980, when my family and I moved to North Wales. In the last few years I have rediscovered this fascinating Hobby and now as well as making models myself, I really enjoy looking at the models and Meccano nostalgia which other Meccano Modelers around the world kindly share with us all on the Internet.
My wife and I first had the idea of supplying Meccano parts several years ago, but the commitments of our previous Business didn't allow us the time to do anything about it. Two years ago we sold our business and now after a nice long rest we have been able to start this new and hopefully interesting venture.
It is our aim to supply Meccano replica and compatible parts at reasonable prices and at an affordable Delivery cost.
Although our range is limited at the moment we will add more parts as soon as possible.
About our Products
Most of our new parts are made by Metallus in Germany, these are of excellent quality and finish and are fully compatible with Meccano.
Some Brass parts including the large Axles parts and the large screwed rods I make myself, the small and medium loaded sacks are made by my wife using material made at Queen st. Steam Powered Cotton Mill in Burnley Lancashire. (This Mill is well worth a visit)
