This special part will enable you to attach home made parts or adapted parts such as cams, strips, dics and gears  etc., simply drill an 8mm hole in your part and attach to the boss with the brass nut provided. Parts up to 2mm thick can be secured , the boss fits standard Meccano axles and includes a brass nut, grubscrew and nylon washer
