About Us

I have been ​a Meccano enthusiast since my Parents bought me my first set in 1957, and in the 1970's I was a member of the North West Meccano Guild, Meccano is still one of my main hobbies and I also really enjoy designing and making new Meccano parts mainly in Brass and Stainless Steel

​

After retiring early from our previous business my wife and I started this new website selling Meccano in 2010, all of our new painted parts are made by Metallus in Germany as are some of the brass parts, but as I had been making Brass parts for my own Meccano set for over 40 years I decided to put that experience to use making replica parts and also new parts to enhance the Mecccano system. All my parts are made traditionally with a manual operated lathe and drilling machines in my home workshop. All parts listed on our website are compatible with the Meccano system.

The website has been built and is maintained by my wife Tricia and she also very much involved in getting orders ready and packaging.
